Business Start Up Fundamentals consists of 3 modules,

Module 1.

  • Identify your unique strengths & weaknesses, and create your own USP (Unique Selling Proposition).

  • Identify your ideal client & most profitable customer segments.

  • How to write a business plan and marketing plan that focuses on growth, profit, creative development and team culture.

Module 2.

  • Setting up your business as a system for long term success (ie. making sure your business is set up to operate without you, so you can take time off).

  • Marketing your business within the wedding industry.

Module 3.

  • Sales strategies that convert leads to money in the bank.

  • Reviewing effectiveness of your business and marketing plan.


 

Only available to businesses with more than 2 years experience, and a track record within the wedding industry.

An application is required for this course.

Ideally suited to

  • businesses who are looking to increase the quantity of work they are able to service (scaling up).

  • businesses with work, but who want to focus on profitability.

  • businesses who have been in the industry for a long time, looking to refresh their skills as managers and build their entrepreneurial mojo.

This course is broken up into 4 modules, to help you fit in implementation around your existing business.

Module 1. Review of Existing Business

  • Reviewing the strengths and weaknesses of your existing business.

  • How to find new opportunities for profit in your business.

  • Setting KPI’s to achieve accountability.

  • Analysing your customer segments to determine most profitable clients.

Module 2. Sales & Marketing

  • Marketing strategies to build loyalty and a strong customer base.

  • Sales strategies to earn more money from existing clients.

  • How to write a NEW marketing plan. Dream Big!

  • How to network and build referrals within our industry.

Module 3. Productivity

  • How to do more in less time.

  • The importance of batching and systemising workflow.

  • Automation of email and CRM development

  • Hacks and apps to increase your productivity.

Module 4. Team Culture

  • The importance of creating a positive team culture (that decreases staff turnover)

  • Methods of sourcing new team members, casual, full time and contract based - and which type of employment you works for you.

  • Strategies to maximise team performance and time management.


 

Not specific to the wedding industry. ‘Business Planning with your Partner’ is for any husband and wife team who wants to get on ‘the same page’ and grow their business together. (Or husband & husband, or wife & wife of course!)

‘Business Planning with your Partner’ comprises 2 modules, to make it easy to find the time to work together.

Module 1.

  • How to set & align your personal goals and your business goals

  • SWOT Analysis for your business and yourselves personally.

  • The Creative and the Hustler - Defining your roles within the business.

  • Identifying research areas needed before commencing your business plan (Fact check time! Make sure you’re in agreeance, chat over a wine and get clarity before we commence writing the plan).

Module 2.

  • Write a kickarse business plan that gets results.

  • How to identify if you’re achieving the results you want (What will your KPI’s be?)

  • How will you address issues and hold yourselves accountable?

  • How will you celebrate your wins together?


 

And for those of us who love seeing results super fast, are happy to work hard and prefer a personalised approach to learning, of course one-on-one coaching is available.

One-on-One sessions comprise;

  • An initital consutlation to review your business, set goals and identify opportunities for growth. Your choice of in person or via zoom.

  • Followed up with a minimum of 4 business coaching sessions, personally tailored to the needs of your business goals.

I’m Rachael, and my husband Dean and I started Inlighten Photography 17 years ago. We were young and enthusiastic and had no idea what we were doing!

Dean was the amazing photographer and I loved the business side of things. And together we built a very successful business.

When we first started Inlighten, our clients were spending, on average $2,400 per wedding.

“Today, we book 80 - 90 weddings every year with an average of just over $11,000 per wedding.

And create happy clients who love and refer us.”

We’ve worked endless nights and weekends. We’ve made mistakes and learnt a whole lot.

We’re incredibly passionate about what we do, and now we’re so excited to be creating a commuity of creative entrepreneurs, who are able to collaborate and support each other.
